My Return on May 27, 2019

Well...I haven't been on Blogger in quite a while! The following are some reasons why:
 I was busy subbing in long - term assignments
I've been traveling to see my granddaughter Sade
I've been traveling to LA to see my daughter Karis...diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer
I am six weeks out from having a fractured Tibial bone behind my knee

...lots of good reasons, but I could have written about any number of things on my mind!
So...I plan to return to blogging!

Educators Corner⟴ Math Rotations

Math Rotations work very well in classrooms. They help teachers differentiate teaching math to students! Here's how I ran my math rotations as a math specialist!

• Group your students into ability groups ( three or four)
• Make a math rotation chart with three or four sections:
1. Teacher (teachers name) time - Guided Math
2. Seat work - Math journals/fact practice if finished with seat work early
3. Tech tools
4. Math games 
• Make the ability grouped students color/number coded (i.e., green, purple, orange or 1, 2, 3)) into three or four small lists to put on the rotation chart
• Write math norms (expectations: voice level 0 or 1, stay focused, do your best work)
